1. What do you study?
Anything that is related to nature.

2. What curriculum do you use?
We use the method of Charlotte Mason. These are some of the books we use.
-The Burgess Animal Book By Thorton Burgess
-Hand Book of Nature Study By Anne Comstock
-Keeping a Nature Journal By Clara Walker Leslie and Charles E. Roth
We also use Amblesideonline for most of the books we read. We also use bird guides
and other guides about animals.
3. Do I need a nature journal?
You can bring one if you want. Most of us just use sketchbooks.
The nice thing with nature journals is that you can draw or write
about the things that you are studying.
4. What kind of things do you do?
Sometimes we do some small classes. Sometimes we just go on a walk and observe God's creation.
In the fall and spring we go on a lot of walks. We go to parks or anywhere that has a trail. In the winter we have an indoor class at a local nature refuge or park.
5. What supplies should I bring?
-Sketch pad or journal
-Pencils
-Drawing Utensils
-Bug Spray
-Water
-Clothing that can get dirty
-Blanket, tarp, or anything that can go on the ground to sit on.
-Optional: Field Guides, Cameras, Magnifying Glass, Binoculars.
